Wood Furnace Videos - EPA Best Burn Practices

Burn Wise is the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) educational campaign to promote clean burning practices. Through this campaign, they hope to encourage people to burn only dry, seasoned wood and to use burning practices that protect both the environment and the consumer by burning more efficiently – such as using an outdoor wood furnace. Efficient combustion offers savings to you by burning less wood and savings for the environment by reducing smoke and emissions.  

As part of the Burn Wise campaign, EPA conducted a video contest promoting responsible wood-burning practices. Watch these videos to see how other wood burners describe good burning practices.
