OUTDOOR FURNACES

The water is thermostatically controlled by setting the aqua stat to the desired water temperature. The pump then circulates the hot water from the furnace connected to a home or shop, using a 3/4" to 1 1/4" water pipe from the furnace. Many hot water outdoor furnaces sold on the market today use a grade 409 stainless steel, commonly called "titanium enhanced" stainless steel. Grade 409 stainless steel ranks at the bottom of the stainless ladder. These outdoor furnaces have a heavy duty 5 inch automatic ash removal auger, adjustable combustion air intake and a built in alarm system that notifies the user of any malfunction by flashing beacon and by telephone. Pelco outdoor furnaces have a hinged roof for easy access. The Empyre and Cozeburn outdoor furnaces are the most well engineered and well-built outdoor furnaces on the market. The firebox has a corrugated baffle design on the top with a large dip at the back. These features on the outdoor furnaces keep the heat in the firebox, increasing efficiency.
