The highly efficient design of Empyre Pro Series outdoor wood furnace models created by Pro-Fab Industries produces steady, reliable heat. Our wood furnaces are self-contained units operating with a dual burn downdraft system. The wood burns in the firebox. Ash and gases are then forced down into the secondary burn chamber where they are burned at temperatures as high as 2,000⁰ F. After leaving the secondary burn chamber, the heat is transferred into the built-in water reservoir through a series of flues running through the water jacket.
